Hi!

I will get a custom sail made for a modified Nacra 6.0, but target would be to reuse the old Harken traveller system.

My sailmaker asks how long the harken traveller track is ? and how big the kette is ? would an 8mm rope with covering be ok?

The boat and sail is still in a container, so cannot simple unroll and look at a sail myself! 🙁

Thanks to anyone taking the efforts to help!

Dirk

Hm... no Nacra 6.0 sailors around? Maybe my English wasn't clear enough: I am looking for the length of the traveller track which is attached to the mainsail and where you can change the sheeting angle and therefore the shape of the lower part of the main.

I had a new main made last year and it was really just a case of unscrewing the track from the clew of the sail then re-attaching it to the new one. I had the same question that you have now but in the end it didn't matter. The sailmaker should know how long to make the fiberglass

bolt rope

that the track gets screwed into BUT... my track is 28 inches if it helps.. the glass rope is longer by 3 inches or so.

thank you ptp,

so the 'rope' actually is a glassfibre tube? any idea of the diameter?

any clue why the track has to be shorter (3 inches)?

kind regards

dirk

I don't think the track needs to be shorter- just what happened I guess. the glass

rope

is maybe 3/8 inch diameter

bolt line?

How about bolt
