Has everyone checked out the photos of the new lightspeed 32 under sail? Very impressive! I have been watching her under construction, she is one mean machine!

Interesting. Take a trimaran and eliminate the middle. Other designers take a catamaran and ADD a middle.

Saw the boat out sailing today in Newport Harbor while we were triing to get to the starting line of the Newport Regatta. Not much wind, but it certainly was eye catching. Wind built as the day went on, but they had headed out to sea to try and find the sea breeze. I look forward to seeing it sail in a real breeze. From a distance we thought it was a reynolds 33.... although the lettering 'Lightspeed' on the outside of each hull should have given it away!

I used to work for a nice Greek fellow, who when faced with something he didn`t like, would utter :

That`s terrible ungly

.
Now would be a good time to quote him.

I sailed on LightSpeed 32 last week. It was docked, in Long Beach, CA, just behind a Reynolds 33. I stood on deck looking down, very far down, at the R33.

The LightSpeed 32 is HUGE in the hulls. I found the boat to be very beautiful.

I'm jealous - love that boat. When the lotto hits those guys will get one of my first phone calls...
