Photos at www.acceleratedchoas.com

We have recovered from the 28 hour drive home, started to re-aclimate to sub-freezing weather, and posted over 150 photos of the steeplechase race on our website. Thanks again Rick and Mary and all the race sponsors for making it all possible!

Dave, Since Jake gave such a great account of the race, I was just hoping to pursuade you and Chris to each write one. I'll have to check the Team Seacats site! Chris great pics! Thanks guys! It is cold up here, and we're expecting snow later today! The virtual race has been great!

I wrote the one on SEACATS.org Is that the one you're talking about? Jake manages www.teamseacats.com, I manage www.seacats.org
I think his "tale" is posted somewhere on here in a thread.

BTW his website skills are far greater than mine, and heres why..

Top Ten Signs Jake is a Computer Hacker

10. You ticked him off once and your next phone bill was for $20,000.

9. He's won the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes 3 years running.

8. When asked for his phone number, he gives it in hex.

7. Seems strangely calm whenever the office computer network goes down.

6. Somehow gets HBO on his PC at work.

5. Mumbled, "Oh, puh-leeez" 95 times during the movie "The Net."

4. Massive 401k contribution made in half-cent increments.

3. His video dating profile lists "public-key encryption" among hobbies.

2. When his computer starts up, you hear, "Good Morning, Mr. President."

And the Number One sign Jake is a computer hacker....
You hear him murmur, "Let's see you use that Visa card now, Professor I-Don't-Give-A's-In-Computer-Science!"

OH Lord...I'm not THAT bad!

Seriously though, the Team Seacats website will soon get a well deserved revamping in the next month or so - it's in the planning and testing stages now. David and I really hope to move forward and keep things very active now that both of us have identical F18s. We'll keep race accounts like this on the site too and hopefully a more reliable photo gallery area (hoping to make all of that much easier to accomplish so David can work with it too!).

geez

I'm not as good as Jake, but I did manage to track down a script-kiddie DDoS'r in Germany once. I consider myself a 1337 h4x0r now.

Speaking of websites in transition, check out www.velocitysailing.com

gaah DNS issues again damnit. Go to it when its working 😛
