I am brand new to a 5.5 Uni. Fun, fun boat. Now, how do you use/set the traveler at the foot of the sail? By point of sail, by wind velocity, let it travel freely or....?

I just sold a uni, maybe a year ago, that went up to that area.
Obviously, you will center the main traveller for sailing to weather and let it off some for downwind.
The sail clew traveller should be centered for upwind and let it out towards the rear of the track for downwind to shape the sail.
Make sure that your downhaul is tightened for upwind and let out for downwind.
