This will be a major open event, sponsored by Sperry Top-Sider, and Sailing World.
6 boats makes a class, and gets you your own start. This may be moved up to 10 for your own start due to the expected turn out. Currently we have enough boats confirmed for an F18 start. We are shooting for 20 boats in the F18 class. If you're in the Seattle area, get in touch with me and I'll add you to our list.
And apologies for the minor hijack, but I'm also in discussion with the Chicago Yacht Club on getting cats into the Chicago NOOD, June 13-15. They are checking with Sailing World, but I'm hoping the Seattle precedent will work in our favor. Stay tuned.

They also have a NOOD event in San Diego, CA. Someone should get on that group to see about a start.
This event has a two page advertisement in Sailing World this month, and another 1/2 column further back in the magazine.
Great publicity for high performance cats if we make a good showing. We may get a few articles...
