Small Roller Furler Needed

Hello everyone after a very long absence. I have suffered a debilitating accident and now I cannot sail my catamaran as I once did. I am looking for a small roller furler to use on a new boat that I bought. I saw the post about the PVC pipe furler and it may be what I need but does anyone have a small used roller furler for sale or trade.

My new job is reviewing tools used in boat building. I am published in three magazines as of now and hopefully more in the near future. I would be willing to trade a nearly new tool for the roller furler as sometimes I do not have to return the tool or give it to habitat for humanity. If you would be interested please email me at boatdock@kfalls.net .

If you want to read some of my reviews I submit reviews to www.duckworksmagazine.com. It is a subscription online magazine and they do have some catamarans stories there. It basically is for do-it-yourself boat building and I have one of my columns there.

Thank You,

John Cupp

Check E-Bay often. I've seen Harken furlers and swivels sell for less than $40 with only 1 bidder.

What are you trying to furl?
To furl a jib you will need top and bottom swivels plus a special pigtail of a certain length at the top.
