Hi, I am new, just signed today <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" /> last august, I bought a Solcat 18 I used it four times. I am getting it ready to start sailing it for this season. I have an issue with the rudders. Over the top I have a shock cord to help lift up the rudders, than there is a steel cable to pull down them and lock in place. My problem is when I try to pull the rudders down the cable jumps of to the side and jams in between the rudder and the housing, making it impossible to pull down the rudders. Is there something missing ? is this a common thing?
