It sounds like the Everglades challenge is routinely won by multihull sailors.

I'd love to see some sort of multi-day distance race down the west coast of Florida. Conditions can be a bit less brutal than the east coast.

Maybe partner with Everglades Challenge?

To the contrary, the west coast of Florida is much more dangerous than the east coast for a catamaran race because of lack of comfortable places to come ashore. That's why the Hog's Breath 1000 had a short existence.

Like Tami said, why not just do the Everglades Challenge?
