Spring Fever is coming!!!
Yes it is, and our new Southern Area F18 Rep (Karl Langefeld) has confirmed that SF is the Southern Area F18 Championship, so dial it up!
Spring Fever is also the second to last race in the Zhik Southern Area F18 Winter series. You only need three to be in the hunt, and there are 3 left in the series:
Pensacola MidWinters, March 24 & 25
Spring Fever, April 6-8
GYC Regatta, April 28&29
Racing to be held in luxurious Hartwell, GA. Plentiful accommodations are available at the race site (bring tent, camper, RV, etc.). One of the largest catamaran regattas in the country sporting A-cats, F18s, Hobies from 14s to 20s, Nacras of all shapes and sizes, Mysteres, Isotopes, you name it! The race course is designed for maximum racing with a start line at the bottom and a finish line at the top of the course so you start when your fleet has regathered in the start area - there is absolutely no waiting for other fleets because they are finishing on the other end of the course!
Food, food, tons of food! Sub-Way sandwiches, Honey Baked Ham, Party (with more food) every night! Live music!
Typically there's an easter egg hunt for the kids and if you're concerned about Easter Services, there are local churches open and willing to accomodate!
There is also a scoring system that allows you to race two days and average your score for the missed races so you can still compete if you can only make two days.
You don't want to miss this one!
Considering renting a large trailer to stack multiple boats from Orlando to SpringFever.
Let me know if anyone is interested in chipping in some coin to do this.
I'd drive the stacks up on Weds prior and back to Orlando on Monday after.
For those going to SC45, it may be possible to stack your boat that weekend and leave it with me (that is if you won't need it until SF).

Oh man, kind of like sitting at the top of the big hill of a roller coaster... I can't wait to see the responses... <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" />
hah - whatever it is, they can't cater to it if you don't pre register - so PREREGISTER PLEASE!
Even my request to see Jesus Christ jackhammering Mickey Mouse in doodoo hole with a lawn dart, while Garth Brooks gives birth to something resembling a cheddar cheese log with almonds on Santa Clause's tummy tum?
I've been waiting 12 years to burn that line somewhere, thank you internet.

Ok...well...that was still inappropriate! <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" />

I'm pretty sure he'd be Karl jr.. Langefeld has certainly earned a
The
in front of his name. Booger( I think this is way more appropriate) is still in training, but Lee will help get him fast tracked at the GT-300.
Hey, Jay started it. I didn't even really think about it until his comment. I'm the victim here.
Ding- Its a line from a song that came out in 2000. To give a hint as to the rest of the content, the chorus is:
A lap dance is always better when the stripper is crying
. The rest I don't even dare touch...

A lap dance is always better when the stripper is crying
.
Jake....I need this on a shirt!!!!!!!
THE Karl

Yes dear.
Sorry Jake, please cancel my order. <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" />

I can probably dig up something more appropriate (and family friendly for you).
