The Great Bay Race , Fort Walton Beach

The 24th annual Great Bay Race will take place on Saturday June 26, 2004 in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. The host site will be the Fort Walton Yacht Club with facilities available for all to use. The event will be hosted by CMA under the guidance of Mike Kelley. The race will be a steeple chase distance race that involves challenging course navigation over a distance of up to 39 miles. There will be t shirts, nice trophies as well as a cookout at the Club at the end of the days racing . Last year this race had everything you could ask for and then some ! So clear your calender and come out to join your friends on the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay for a great day of sailing in our usual 12 -14 knot sea breezes.
