I was just watching the C Class boats and one of the commentators said that one of the sailors had Velcro Feet.

Rather than foot straps has anyone ever tried Velcro on the soles of their boots and the hull or rails?

It should give more stability and the ability to move fore and aft to adjust trim without getting hurt when you come to a sudden stop.

EVA foam decking. Stock on most all production F16's and F18's as of 2012/2013.

Sorta

Try it for yourself. Rig a trap line at home and glue the fuzzy Velcro to the

boat

and the hook side to your shoes. See how easy it is to attach/detach your feet. Now try the shoes on your boat and see what you accidentally get stuck to and how many lines you drag around. If you can make it work, people will copy you.

There was a game setup years ago that let you walk up a wall with velcro shoes. A fun part was if the person in the velcro shoes stepped on the carpet. They normally needed help getting unstuck.

Reminds me of Letterman's

Velcro Suit,

back when he used to do stuff crazier than drinking a bottle of mustard or whatever he's been up to lately...
