Yes too much fun.

Your last course was kickass. Although too much traffic around the cans. Specially that huge YACHT!

I've got a Radeon x300 w/ 128MB ram video card. Turns out that the game didn't automatically detect my video card and I had to turn some of the advanced features on. It plays pretty well now. I'll have to figure out how to connect with you guys.

Since you don't have to pull any lines on VS4, why doesn't someone design an N20 or M20?

Then, some enterprising youth could design a T-500 course so ya'll can train from your desktop!

Here are the minimum system requirements. Looks like to me you meet the minimum requirements. You can run the game, I would recommend turning down all the eye candy and such for smoother gameplay.

• 3D Hardware Accelerator Card required - 100% DirectX® 9.0b compatible 64MB Hardware T&L - capable video card and latest drivers
• Pentium® III 500MHz or Athlon® 500MHz processor or higher for systems with Windows® 98/ME
• Pentium® III 500MHz or Athlon® 500MHz processor or higher for systems with Windows® 2000/XP
• Original version of Microsoft® Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP
• 64MB of RAM (256MB recommanded)
• 575MB of uncompressed free hard disk space
• 100% DirectX® 9.0b compatible 16-bit sound card and latest drivers
• 100% Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP compatible mouse, keyboard and latest drivers
• DirectX® 9.0b

What I would do in your case, download the demo and give it a shot. If you like it and it runs smoothly purchase the full retail version

Direct link to the demo

Also what OS do you run? You can get more performance by killing a lot of background processes. I can help you with this, if you are seriously interested.

I can host again if you wish. What kind of course do you want...I kind of liked the "round texel" course that we were sailing initially. Or do you like the course1 ACA that we sailed later?

just a typical windward-leward race is fine. Make it 3 laps with an overall length of 2.5 miles and we'll be gravy.

no matter what I do to the firewall settings on my router, it just wont work. I've tried every walkthrough out there for VS4 and nothing is working. So I gave up.
