We're suffering a loss...

OH MAN, That s-u-c-k-s! I love that website. I show my son at least one video from it every new issue. We get at least one good laugh out of it each and every issue.
I nominate Jake to take it over.... He must be on the computer about 23 1/2 hours per day as it is.... Seconds anyone?
Greg
I have WAAAAAY to many irons in the fire for something like that. Even if that weren't the case, while I'm saddened to see Tim shut down the site, my grammer and spelling are far too attrocious (see?). I can't even get the Team Seacats site the way I want it because the boat work is taking precendence with the time we have left before the Tybee (but I am starting to do some updates on the teamseacats site about the effort underway).

In a nut shell : Everything.
I've completely disassembled the boat and am starting from the ground up. With the gracious support of www.SailMax.biz, Frank and I are replacing all the sails, all the standing rigging (including the mast hound - Trey!), upgrading to mid-pole snuffer, upgrading to self tacker, and upgrading to side-laced trampoline. A well deserved bottom job / fairing is underway and efforts to remove all possible slop from the rudder system. Everything is coming apart to be inspected, reinforced, or seated. Most of the reinforcements are items that Frank or I have seen be weaknesses or from what we've learned through the experience of others. It's a lot of work but our goal this year is to get to Hollywood and have nothing to do but check into the hotel, setup the boat, and get our minds straight.
The Team Seacats website will reflect the work - I'll try to make a post at least every other day.
And I thought this thread was a lament on the sorry state of affairs (and lack of catamaran content) in the "racing with both monohulls and multihulls" thread...
Wetass... as John McLaughlin would say, "Bye, bye!" [and thanks for all the fish... etc.]
Tis a sad day indeed!Tim has provided so many great stories and videos! Seems all my friends and family were able to apreciate at least some of it! One of my nephews will join me in my mourning. He's into surfing, and windsurfing and really enjoyed the videos! THANKS TIM!
