He has been in the hunt for a good time now. I haven't been posting nearly as much in the last two years as I used to.

I figure Jake will beat me to the 10.000 mark.

haven't looked in a while...where am I? (I've been slowing down here too though as work is getting increasingly busy).

shoot...you're nearly a thousand ahead of me still...let me know how that limit works out (who says there is a limit and why?)

I don't see Mary put in a 5000 posts before either you or I reach the big 10000.

Personally I don't think there is a physical limit; just a mental one.

Actually, I don't think 1616 has a 16. He had another Hobie last I knew. Things change though.

Having helped to runa forum that used Ubb; I do not thing there is a limit that any of us will reach soon; we had people on 15,000 plus posts !!

What's retail on Waves these days?

15,000 posts at 1 minute a post wasted about 10.4 days of someone's life. I just wasted about 5 minutes of my life typing this. At that rate I'll have wasted 52 days of my life when I reach 15,000 posts. <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" />

I think quite a few hours were spend behind the computer designing DOGzilla and CHEESEzilla (If not Hydropthere, Orange and Alpha)

I would think not having those projects would be really missed as well.

With respect to time spend on the forum. This grew the cat scene and created a few new fleets and classes. Also very valuable to the larger sailing scene.

I've been land yachting in California on a dried lakebed. We paced the craft with the rental car - 47 mph! What a blast. Flying a wheel on the high side at that speed and also going into a flat spin will get your heart pumping! I only did it once but will remember it a lifetime.

I have a hard time believing that there is a 10,000 post limit on the forum software.

I don't know whether there is some sort of self-imposed limit or not. That doesn't sound very wouterish.
