[#2009]

I just got my first catamaran and I'm looking for an easy place to store it. It's in my driveway but I want to avoid having to rig it every time I want to go out. Does anybody know of a marina where I can store it on my trailer (rigged) and easily drop it down a ramp? I've heard you can store a cat on a beach up in Marblehead but that's a little far and I'd rather pay for some more security if possible.

the best spot to leave a completly rigged boat is on the beach. if you take off your ropes and rigging and be sure to place a good size steak in the sand and attach your boat to it while leaving it on the beach. no one should take it, including the wind.

hope this helps,

JD
