That was an awesome weekend, kind of makes my eyes sweat thinking about the old OSYC on the 5-Year Anniversary of Katrina, can't believe 5 years have past since that nasty lady visited.

What is "early Saturday"? You might be mad if I show up at 6am with nothing but a speedo on ready to sail. I did mention I sail in a thong didnt I? :-O Thats not a problem is it? 😆

Is Saturday good for you Terry?

6am might be early but 7:30 would be OK. Be sure to wear your PFD and trap harness over your thong.

Well I dont have a trap harness but I did get a new life jacket last week. Its one of those real good orange ones like this.

No, seriously it will probably be around 8:30 or so before I get there if the weather is nice. I think the wife and kid will be staying home.

Campsite 11 is available for all 3 nights right now. Several other sites are available for Friday and Sunday nights. I am not sure if my regular crew is going to be able to come. Terry and Jeremy what time were you going to head back on Saturday?

I will probably be heading back around 4 or so. I dont want to be too late getting back home. Are you still staying all weekend? Do I need to bring my boat?

Yes we are staying the weekend. You can sail on my boat or bring yours. We will help you put your boat together and launch. Here is the original plan.

Is it going to be you by yourself or do you have a crew coming with you? What about you Terry? You bringing a crew with you?

I would have a hard time sailing the day after drinking the hard liquor. Maybe a few beers but that rum will hurt you.

Right now I don't know if my regular crew is coming. One of my friends from Tuscaloosa is bringing a Hobie 16 and his girl friend. They are staying on my my campsite and will arrive Friday night.

The rum is Philips secret weapon. He throws a big party the night before the race. He pretends to drink while making extra strong drinks for everyone else. The next day he wins the race, everybody else is to hungover to race hard.

I guess you already said that didnt you. Sorry. If you or Terry will be sailing by yourself I will probably just crew for one of you. If you have a crew I will bring my boat but yall might have to bear with me till I get the hang of it. Would I be ok on a Getaway sailing solo?

If you bring your boat we will not run off and leave you. We might sail circles around you like Philip does me!!! I do not know much about the Getaway but might be able to show you some of the settings that can be adjusted.

I predict when steve sets that hooter the getaway will turn into a Nacra real soon. My wife has already nixed a newer Nacra until I get one out of college.

Thats a good possibility. Maybe I dont need to even get on the Nacra. I could see myself spending alot of money quick. How much can you get a good boomless Nacra for? I could talk her into it if it wasnt over 4-5k. Bad part is I would have to keep the Getaway due to the front tramp. She likes that feature but I see myself getting bored with the Getaway quickly.

I really like this one.
