There is a tread like this on the Hobie 16 forums and it interesting to see everyone's boat but then on this web site its more then just h16s.

Gimme about two weeks and I can post to this thread. That's about how long 'till I can put my boat on the water for the first time and raise sail.

Towed the kids on a boogie board behind the Prindle two weekends ago in 6 knots of wind. They had a great time.

Here's my boat. I spend more time reading than I do posting. My brother and I usually sail from the Dunedin Causway.

Dueling Beach Cats, Damon's 18 is in the foreground with the wings, mine is in the background with my older son. Fun day at Sardis in MS. Damon, thanks for the use of the sails - they look good on my boat!

Hey, when you do get your Reynolds in the water, mind writing up a report of how she sails? I'm curious how it handles with the weight of those hulls. Looks like it should be a fast, stable ride.

The picture was taken at Caladesi, but yes, the video was taken from the Gandy Causeway. Not a bad place to launch really, you just have to be very careful avoiding those rock piles, and rednecks on dirt bikes.
