When I left Memphis last Friday headed to Birmingham for the Cat Caper Regatta I filled up at Costco for $2.39. That turned out to be cheaper than anything I found on the road, and Birmingham had much higher prices in the $2.69-2.89 range.
Coming back Sunday I filled up in Pell City for $2.63 and then just past Tupelo saw a truck stop advertising $2.19 gas. Filled up back at Costco for $2.23.
Sure made the trip more affordable than the $4.00+ I paid on the raod to the gulf a couple of times this summer.
Too bad my season is about over! 😡

We hit below $2 here (Central TX) for the first time I can remember in ages. Corpus Christi usually has the cheapest gas in the state. So If your sailing that way, you should be in good shape.
