Hi, I am new to Milwaukee and would love to meet people who want to sail Lake Michigan or other areas within about a hundred miles of Milwaukee. I would really like to go beach camping or cross the lake too! I have a 20ft Nacra with a cargo net in front. Who's up for some camping?

Check out The craw sailing group, crawsailing.org. I think Racine is a common cat launch place for Lake Michigan sailing, but I have never done it. I sail Lake Michigan off the beach in Wilmette IL (north of Chicago). Lake crossing would be intense on a cat, I hear the middle of the lake often have different weather, I have never done it or really even considered it.
