Hi gang,
I am considering a sail on my Hobie 18 round trip from Port O'Connor to the state Park on Matagorda Island this July. It looks like about 10 miles. Anybody with prior experience and advice? Thanks!

The east part of the voyage is through some pretty shallow waters it looks like. Charts show some dicey areas. Hoping to find some local sailors who regularly sail in and out of Port O'Connor.
