clean the hulls

hi to all....
the gelcoat of my "86 h16 has become yellow thanx to the previous owner that never take care of this boat.....
i have found a product based on oxalic acid...
i have use it on the top of my boat and it has become really white,tomorrow i'll do the rest of my boat.
what do i have to do after?
polish?
polish and wax?
or just wax?

The wax issue is always controversial.
Here is a thread that discuss's some cleaning and protecting options.
VertGlas and 303

Seeing as most damage is from the sun, a suitable cover may be the best answer.
