Do Turbo's go straight downwind?

Of course the standard 14 doesn't tack downwind, but what about the turbo? Which way is faster?

Well, I broad reach and gybe mine, but I'm not sure if it's really faster, but it's more fun!!!

can you do the wild thang? i saw al hefner sail dead downwind wild thanging it through a fleet of lightnings with spinnakers, picking off boat after boat. he was second overall in a big mixed fleet on his turbo when a fluke caught him and he flipped. that was some awesome sailing.
