This May I am putting on my first regatta and am getting a lot of help to prepare for it. The boats being raced will be Access Dinghies (yes monohulls only regatta but the H16 Trapseat will be on display and giving rides to promote the upcoming H16 Trapseat Worlds, plus I will also be planning a Trapseat regatta a month later). So if anyone has any experience in this area regarding your mistakes and successes I would greatly appreciate it. I have to admit I am a little intimidated by running a regatta but am going to go for it!

Thanks.

Slightly off of your topic, but I'm curious about the Access Dinghies. Any info?

NAHCA is again sponsoring one day RC management seminars in 2002. Check with your Division Chairperson or Paul Ulibari to see if one will be held in your Division. With a May regatta, the timing may not work out.

US Sailing does RC training courses but not sure on what levels. The PRO certification is quite in depth. Not sure if anything would be convenient to you.

E-mail if you have specific questions on RC. Don't know (havn't used this forum much) if my address will pop up here, so it is:
