Hi, I just got an older Hobie 14. All is good, except the hulls have been painted with an ugly red enamel paint. I can see spots where the original orange of the hull shows through, and it looks fine underneath. Any ideas for safely removing enamel paint from a Hobie hull? (I'm about to try waterblasting it - if I shouldn't, please say so quick )

You might try gently rubbing with an acetone-soaked paper towel and moving on when you get through to the gelcoat (which will also start to come off.)
