Hi all , maybe a stupid question but i wonder if i could use the rudder (total casting)of an Hobie 14 on mine HC16, are both rudders the same in size ??Hope some incrowd could help?Thanks 4 time greet s

The rudders and casting should be the same, but the tiller arm is shorter if I remember correctly.

Correct!!
Rudder, lower casting and upper casting are all the same. Yes the tiller arms are shorter, different bend on the 14 / 16.

Regarding the 14, that's a big rudder for a little boat. And seeing as how the 14 came first, moving that same rudder to the 16, well, it's still a good sized rudder on the 16. I can't think of a more nimble cat than the 16.
