I found a sailmaker to make some Turbo Jibs at a great discount--$225-250 each. I need to put in an order of at least 5 to get the discount and I only have 4 now. Granted, they won't be class legal, but it beats paying the $308-390 that Hobie charges.
You can get red, white, blue, yellow and lavender in a 5-6oz cloth that is similar to the standard Hobie sails. You can get just about any color you want in a lighter 4oz material. It won't be as durable, but the color selection is there. Shipping should be about $10 each. I will also need to prepay the order to get free shipping of the whole lot to me--then I will ship them out to you. That way, we don't have to pay double shipping. It should take 2-3 weeks for delivery.
