I have a 1983 TheMightyHobie18 and i'm searching the internet (with no luck) for the older style 6" porthole hatch cover (deck lids). These are the kind that pop-in or out and have the rope attached to them. If anyone is upgrading to the newer screw-in type let me know because i'd love to purchase your old pop-in covers if they are in good condition.
I know its better to upgrade to the screw in type but with two kids i don't have much time for maintenance if i want to sail this year.

thanks Harry i took your advice and the dealer had it, i thought they stopped making them, but i ended up buying a set from another Hobie owner.
Also i'me selling the set of the new style ports/hatches with the outer ring/flanges and the hardware. They are black, this is what i intended to install on my boat but never had the time. They are made by Viking Marine, part# is V1146 i think, same size as the pop-in stle, hatch 6
wide and outer ring is 8
