Jib effect on pointing
Hi guys
I've finally got my mast rake sorted out with some time spent on shrouds and playing with the mast step/base.. But I still seem to have pointing problems. The boat has speed, but I just can't piont as high as the leaders. I've been told my jib is blown, and would need replacing. So my question for those experienced sailors who have replaced there jib once or twice..how much of a difference does a new jib make? Does one 'all of a sudden' point better? Just curious...
