Last summer I purchased an old Hobie Cat 18' on craigslist and would like to find some parts to fix it up. Does anyone know of a good place to shop for old Hobie parts?

I'm not sure how old it is. After searching around on the Hobit Cat website for a bit I came across the warranty section. I found the serial number of my boat (it's 4022) after reading the section

For boats that are older than 1973

(http://www.hobiecat.com/support/warranty/sailserial.html). Is that really old? Would new parts fit on an old model?

I also think I failed to setup the jib properly. I found the TheMightyHobie18&SX manual online with some pictures, should I follow those instructions? Does anyone have some pictures of their setup I could look at?

Thanks!
colin

This is the Hobie 16 and 14 forum. Try posting it on the Open Forum -- several present and former Hobie 18 sailors frequent that forum.
