I imagine this is not the only bulletin board that you monitor. Occationally, you refer to conversations you've had on other boards. How many other online bulletin boards do you monitor??? Does Hobie see this as a critical function, such as rumor control and marketing strategy? -Or is it mainly a goodwill courtesy? -Or is it something you have personally chosen to do?

I see it as critical, goodwill and have taken it on as a personal decision to monitor the forums and pitch in when possible. I love sailing and Hobie Cats. I have always found great pleasure in helping others to enjoy the sport and to better understand how these things work... to better enjoy them.
How many forums do I look at? Mostly our Hobie forums and Catsailor, but these lead me elsewhere from time to time. I also wander through some of the kayak forums.
I love it that people can share information, get help and socialize with people who enjoy the same sport so easily!
