I'm interested in information about the Hobie single hand righting system, as sold in the Hobie catalog(Hobie-16). Does it work as well or better than other systems.
Would any modifications or improvements be warrented?

I highly recommend the Murrays large waterbag with 4:1 blocks. It will right a H16 easily (I have used it on a P19 several times), and you can keep it for years even if you change boats.
