Hi everybody
Does anybody know what is the size and material of the rivets that Hobie Cat uses in its castings ?

The ones in the US use 3/16 inch stainless steel rivets.
3/16 inch = 4.8 mm
The only problem with SS rivets in aluminum castings is that they galvanically corrode (the aluminum) in salt water. You might want to try Monel rivets instead (very expensive, though).
Do a Google seach for "Monel pop rivets" and you can buy them on-line.
