Thank you very much guys...will give it a shot over the weekend.also,i dont now how to rig up the spin.i dont have a spin bag.there's only one bag on the tramp which we're using for the righting line and halyards.how and where does it go?

If you've got a spinaker on a 16 it's a recent addition as they don't come standard but they can be bought as an optional extra. If you can post a picture of the rigging, it will help us understand what you've got and how it should go together.
