My trampoline finally gave through over the weekend. As I look to replace it I am looking for opinions on what people like. I am not racing so I am not bound to the Hobie tramp. I am particularly looking for user feedback on the Sol bias cut tramp.
Does it indeed lace up tight?
How does it hold up?
Is it worth the extra $48 bucks for the teflon thread?

Thanks for the input

Where did your Hobie vinyl tramp fail? At the back corners?
Did you get wet?

It was not a hobie tramp it was a aftermarket mesh tramp that was heat welded down the center that I latter had stitched. Lucky we sailed the whole day and once we got back during tear down the thread gave way. I hand sewed it back up to last the next 2 days but dont trust it anymore.

The Hobie Factory Vinyl Tramps last for a really long time .... so they are a good value if you look at cost vs durability.

That said ....

SunRise Yacht Products makes a superior mest tramp w/ a bias cut .... and yes the teflon is worth it ... it's usually the stitching is what fails ....

I have a

Factory

Vinyl Tramp on my TheMightyHobie18 for

Class Racing

... and a Sunrise Yacht Products

Bias-Cut

Mesh Tramp w/ Teflon Thread on my P19MX. I am happy w/ both .... it's your choice ....
