Hello all. Maybe one can advice me with how to store mine Hc16 during wintertime. It will stay outside on the grass. For example Should i remove the Mash trampoline or cover it? Should i remove the small dops in both of the hulls or let them in?? What is best way to cover the hulls? I hope one can find time to answer these things. Thanks for your time and devotion. Greets r.
Take this as just my advice as I'm sure many people have different opinions. I take the mast off of my H16 and hang it on some hooks in the garage, loosen the tramp and cover the whole thing with a large tarp to protect from UV rays more than anything else. I use a makeshift sawhorse type 2X4 to raise the center of the tarp so that rain and snow do not settle on the top of the tarp. I have to tighten the tarp every few weeks due to the gusty winds in Oklahoma flapping the tarp around. You can usually pick up a good quality tarp from Lowe's or Walmart for around $20-$30 however they only last about a year. Oh, and be sure and leave the drain plugs out!Good Luck!!!!
