I’m having extreme difficulty removing my 19’s center boards. I’m assuming the PVC “axle” simply slides upward in the grooves in the trunk. I’veshot blast of water from a hose, dripped dishwashing liquid as a lubricant in there, wiggled the board and pulled on the shock cords simultaneously, and neither one of them is budging. Anyone got Any advice? Is there any kind of lock pin or something similar that I may be missing? Really don’t want to destroy anything trying to get it out.

My Mystere's boards must be in a fully-extended (down) position before they can be removed. Can't do it with the hull on the trailer pads, I have to lift the hull up a few more inches, then allow the board to fully extend, then pull it out. Maybe it's similar for the P19?

Also, the Mystere has extension as well as retraction control lines, as well as two bungees per board. I had to remove all of these to remove the boards.

I've noticed that one of my pivot cylinders (nylon) has worn a small indent into the side of the pivot track. Yours might be stuck in a worn indent. If so, try pushing the pivot over  one way or the other with a long, thin shim to help it become free.

I just had to man-up and get mean with it. Stood directly over each one and gave it my all, both popped right out.
