Working from memory here but I think the MkIV model run was from 1996 to 2000. The earlier boats were straight and from about 1998 they were canted 7 degrees. The US association should have a record of when the sail number was issued. The card glassed inside the hatch only had hull number not date I think.

Cheers

It was run through 2001. Mine was canted. They are either double kevlar hulls or kevlar/carbon. mine is kevlar/carbon. Kevlar outer skin/carbon inner skin. I think it is foam core and not nomex, but cannot remember whether my waterat or Boyer had the nomex core, I think it was the Waterat. What year is your Boyer?

not sure of year but the hull number is 0060. Is there anywhere that we can find the year based of the hull number?

If you look in the other hull it should be 0059. Those hulls were built in 2000.

Contrary to my earlier post they went from straight to canted in June 1997.

thanks ACE. I have decided to change the mast bean hinge and was just wondering how you remove the existing one? i can see one screw that will remove the front of it but am unsure how to remove the top circular piece.

If it's original, the small cup on top of the hinge plate is screwed in to the striker post. It should just screw out to let you remove the hinge.

Hi Guys

Can anyone provide me with some photos of your mast rotation setup? I have just replaced my tramp and now the configuration is not quite right.
