Can someone give me some information on
Object
A class cats.
Who made them? When? What different models etc.

They are designed by Tim Kirkham. He was a long time A Class sailor out of Port Melbourne but is now sailing a Taipan 4.9. They are a very stiff platform with integrated main beam and quite bouyant hulls. I think there are 3 different versions with only slight changes. Built from early this century by various builders. Good competitive boat but not a DNA beater - not the same cost either.

Looks like useful info.
I wonder if ACE 11 knows if the earlier, or later builds were better? Did Tim build himself?
