Hi, I work with special ed kids here in Austin TX., and am prepairing to teach them about sailing and boat repair. With approval, they will be able to learn job skills that will hopefully help them in the real world.
I am in search of any symetrical hull from a cat, 18 to 20+ feet. The longer, the better..... I was told that a Nacra, or some other make would serve our purpose, as we work to complete our trimaran. I have the amas and akas, just need a vacka......

Please consider that junker in your dry storage. The hull can be ratty, even minorly holed, as they will be shown some basic repairs: fibreglass, aluminum sheet and tubing repair, backup plate installation, re-threading of stripped bolts, ect.

Any recommendations appreciated.

Yes,
Hobie 16 hulls would be a good start. I have a trailer, could come down and pick them up. Call my cell, 512-670-1111 and I can arrange.
