I just talked to Sharon of the Lake Charles Yacht Club and she informed me that the Deep South Regatta has been cancelled by the board due to lack of interest/participation by the local members.
I only attended this regatta once, right after Hurricane Rita hit Lake Charles, it was a great regatta with a huge Crawfish boil.
Anyone know more detail about the cancellation?
