Today I set a new personal record for the slowest racing ever.
In the past, I've drag raced at 100mph/14sec. I've had my sportbike at over 160mph on the track. Raced dirtbikes at 50mph thru tight woods. Flew sailplanes at 60-90 knts. Skydived at terminal velocity. Even mountain bike races are at 10-15mph. I like speed and adrenaline.
Today I raced my prindle, and it took almost 3 hours to go maybe 2 miles.
Yes that's right, I "raced" today at less than 1mph. How funny is that? We even needed a tow to get to the starting line in time.
The only racing that occurred today was racing to get the next beer out of the cooler. lol.
But the crew and I still had a good time.
This is the exiting finish as we burst across the finish line. The race committee boat is the one with the sails down.

Nice. My first regatta was like that. Our 1 mile course took hours. Still had fun though.
