Would it be possible to do like woods cata and have those plans in PDF format to be sent by e-mail?
Oz is quite far from for ex. my place and I had a very stressing experience waiting for my plans for the Blade.

Gato,

Drawings will be available as PDF. Cutfiles for the kit will be available as DXF so you can either get the ply cut locally or plot out full size templates. No charge at all on electronic copies (other than F12 royalty if we go ahead with that idea).

Update on prices......

Option 1) F12 Plans (for kit construction). AUS$10 (to cover printing and postage) + a $50 donation to F12 association when and if it exists.

Option 2) F12 plans with dimensioned drawings requiring you to measure out your own panels rather than tracing off templates (These are what Matt is using).AUS$10 (to cover printing and postage) + a $50 donation to F12 association when and if it exists.

Option 3) F12 Plans (with full size film templates). AUS$50 (to cover printing and postage) + a $50 donation to F12 association when and if it exists.

Option 4) PDFs emailed no cost except donation to F12 association when and if it exists.

Plans included:

1- Sail Plan and Rigging layout
2- Hull construction Layout
3- Full size hull construction sections
4- Full size Construction details (chainplate pads etc)
5- Hull plate geometry (options 2 only)
6- Internal structure geometry (option 2 only)
7- Beam details
8- Rudder stock details
9- Rudders and centreboards (timber) printed on film for template accuracy.

10- Full size templates for all parts printed on film for accuracy. (option 3 only)

Precut F12 hull kit (Gaboon ply. kit includes hull skins, and all timber internal structure. Ply is pre-scarfed so all components are full size and ready for assembly. Doesn't include foam, resin or glass.) AUS$650 + postage.

For those who don't like working with metal:

Pre-made Beam set (2 beams). ie cut to length drilled. striker fitted and st. steel striker strap included. AUS$175

Rudder stocks AUS$200 (for two), could probably fit on RGs design also.

Anodising approx $100 for all beams and stocks.

Foil moulds will be available in April. These will be lent out with the builder paying for shipping and a fully refundable deposit to protect against damage or loss. It is not necessary to use these moulds as standard plan set calls for shaped timber foils.

The prices above include NO profit for me.

This sound great, and very in line with the original idea of the F12 concept. For me it’s very important that everything can be bought locally and fabricated “at home”. It has to do with both cost imitating transports as much as possible.
So for my part it will be option 4, I will send you a PM with an e-mail address. As for the class fee I will pay it as soon as there is a fee to pay. <img src=

Mattaipan has started building one but being summer I believe actual sailing has been getting in the way of building.

Hi Guys

Yes I have started, but for the last month and the next month sailing is getting in the way, this weekend is state titles and then a fortnight until Easter regatta.

Only just got the internet back on after a month of waiting for telstra to come back and fix their intial stuff up.

I've taken an extra weeks holiday after this weekends state titles so I might have a crack at it then, although planning to stay on in Melbourne for an extra day or two.

Regards
