The last weight poll was confused by having two issues in one question. What I'm trying to achieve here is a value for designers and builders to base calcs on until more data is available for a more informed decision.
The only data points we have at this stage are Gato's DS12 at 52kg using 4mm ply (plans call for 3mm).
The paper tiger (14') has a platform weight of 50kg which is achievable with the use of ply or composite.
The Arafura Cadet (11') has a minium platform weight of 36kg.
