Would be nice BUT they are not of "two identical hulls" (without "hydrofoils")

I wouldn't object to racing against Moths and Int. 14s. Whatever gets more boats on the water to compete against. However, this is a formula class so nobody owes anybody else time.

If the rule is "two identicle hulls" then the H14, Maricat, Windrush and many other boats will not comply as their hulls are asymetrical and not identical. They are actually the opposite of each other.

Just a thought.

They are, arguably "two identical hulls" only they are identical and mirror reverse!

That's funny.

They are identical but they are not.

I like it.

It's the same when you look in the mirror! you see yourself identically BUT, mirror reversed!! so isn't the image the same as the original?

Besides, ALL the pre existing 14' cats can race against the "NEW" F14's, as it states in the F14 rules, as long as their (the pre existing 14' cats) total sail area does not exceed 300 sq feet. Its only any new F14 built to within the "box rule" that have to have "two identical hulls"
