ok all.....with out trying to screw things up.....how about spin/ non spin classes.....Im sure everybody wants to have spins, blasters, etc....but how about a non spin class...say main/jib combo...My original plan was to square top my mail and add a jib to the 14 i have....then down the line add a spin or blaster...this way, i can quickly go racing---Im sure others with existing boats would agree...hey, some guys out there are not ready to drop 1k ( my rough guess on costs) on spins, blocks, poles, etc....plus the time it will take to do so...I think this will give other newbees a chance to test the waters before adding all that sail area and cash.... Im not trying to fracture this class, nor cause controversy..Im behind it 200%....If there are enough out there that likes this speak up.....if not, I will go with the existing formula...I just might not be on the water as fast as i would prefer...these are my thoughts....so be gentle with the flames
