So what is the weather like in Gulfport in Nov.?

I thought U.S. was off season by November?

Is it a Lake, Bay or coast?

The norther states of the US are usually too cold come November but Gulfport, Florida is in the southernmost state, and November usually has the best wind, the gulf water is still pretty warm too (it was 68F last week).

The actual racing area is about the size of a big lake. The bay is surrounded by land with a few bridges to let the tide through, but mostly very protected, shallow water, so even if it's blowing 30kts, you don't get big waves, just chop.

The air was 84F down here in central Florida today, Nov. 12, one year exactly from the date of the next GC. Next Nov. should be a great time for it, not too hot, not too cold and plenty of wind.
