A small announcement to people who have send in comments;
I thank you all for your comments and have indeed implemented a good deal of them. Thank you for the designs who were willing to inform me of some test and wild ideas they had tried out. As agreed some of these will remain secret, that was the deal.
I'm sorry that I've sometimes failed to reply; please understand that I was very busy with getting the rules ready. But rest assured that I took all suggestions seriously and even though I've not replied back to most I trust that each one of you will recognise a few of your comments. So Kirt, Jim, John, Martin, John (another one), Phill, Michael, Greg, Ian, Willy, James, Geert, and Tom; Thank you all !
(This group of people spans : Two handicap rating systems; 3 respected A-cat designers, 2 professional sailmakers, 5 professional boatbuilders, 2 experienced home boat builders, 2 international Tornado campaigners and 1 inspired "if not Gung-ho" Taipan #32 sailor who is having to much fun when all others have just prepared their boats fro the winter)
Anybody, brave enough to state that the new rules were cooked up by just one or two persons will have to answer to a whole lot more persons.
