The news is coming in thick a fast these days. First with the growth of the Datchet Stealth F16 fleet and now with an official announcement with respect to Vectorworks Marine Blade F16 European group deal.
Normally I would spread out the news a little bit to give everybody their share of undisturbed public attention, but in this case I will have to make an exception as there is a time schedule to be satisfied here. My appologies to the others.
Here I will give a translation of the official announcement, it was also send as a letter to all European parties who showed an interest in purchasing a Blade F16 this winter :

Dear sir, madam,
We take this opportunity to inform you about the recent developments concerning the Vector Works Marine produced Blade F16 catamaran
The company Catamaranparts has just become the European support and service point for Vector Works Marine. From Zandvoort, the Netherlands, we will handle all the sales and technical support with respect to these products. Building on our prior experience and knowledge with respect to beach catamarans we will do all it takes to supply you with a fast and dependable boat that will give you many years of sailing pleasure.
The current situation is as follows.
Due to the significant interest coming from different area's within Europe we have agreed on the following setup. A container with at least 5 Blade F16 boats is planned to leave the Vector Works Marine yard for Zandvoort in the second week of Januari 2006. Currently, we are busy finalizing the paperwork with respect to this transport; this includes the the final pricing. Personal wishes concerning the layout of the boats or custom parts can be handled now as well.

So good news all around. growth in the Stealth F16 part of the scene; growth in the Blade F16 part of the scene and AHPC looking to come out with a Capricorn F16 in the future. The Formula 16 class is definately coming of age.
