Paul Kilkenny sailed his Taipan F16 uni at the So. Calif. Midwinters this weekend. Lots of a-cats there, including the new M&M. I had a chance to catch up with Paul and coerced the poor guy to take me sailing after he'd been out all day racing so we could share some ideas. He's using a center tramp mainsheet system. (I couldn't race as I was taking the kids to Legoland...) Thanks Paul. We should have both of us on the water at some upcoming regattas as the weather warms up.

I've never seen a center tramp mainsheet system; how's it configured?
Also, how well did it work, did you like it, and does it get in the way?
