F16 website?

doesn't seem to be working too well though. also got a PM from a new member called 'Eternity' - looked suspiciously like spam.

Has the site been hacked?

The site was offline for most of today after a hardware upgrade on the server went quite badly wrong, and it had to be restored from backup which took the best part of 9 hours.

The PM spam is a separate issue, which I'll talk to Simon about.

I've killed off the spammer and deleted all the PM's they sent so anyone who's not logged in and read it; it should have gone....

Simon, we need people like you in my country to delivery fast&fatal justice. If we had them maybe I'd still have a job.

On a serious note, even if the situation was dealt with and resolved fast, maybe we can have a

report to administrator

button or something similar for future use, just in case some bots are wiser and not that obvious.
